Welcome, I’m Sami. I am studying International Development and also work part time to finance myself. The precious free time I have I to invest in creative endeavors like writing on topics that interest me, making photos and videos with old digicams and record funky house sets. I created this website so I can share my work without having to use big corporate platforms that try to suck you into their algorithms.
Colophon
My main sources of inspiration were the sites of StephVee, kepano and chloeyan. I liked the idea of everyone having a little corner of the internet. A digital garden, a blog or whatever you might want to call it. I decided to use a static site generator called Quartz, so I can publish directly via my notes app of choice Obsidian.
Regarding AI
Without AI this website wouldn’t exist in this form. I know nothing about HTML, CSS or Java so I vibe coded the shit out of this website. Shoutout to VSCode and Free Education Plans from GitHub. All content, so texts, photos, music and videos are completely AI free though.
